The Altamonte Springs South Seminole Optimist Club is a community based service club that works to improve the lives of kids through service projects in Altamonte Springs and the surrounding communities in South Seminole and North Orange Counties.
We are affiliated with and are a part of the North Florida District Of Optimist International.
The South Seminole Optimist Club is a strong supporter of The Altamonte Springs Advisory Board and Special Olympics, two groups that work with the mentally and physically challenged youth in our community. Along with all of the time spent with these groups we also support and fund:

"Bringing Out The Best in Kids" Charity Golf Tournament
August 22, 2008 Magnolia Plantation Golf Club Lake Mary Florida 12:30 Shotgun Start 5:00 pm Awards and Dinner Due to Hurricane Fay the Tournament has been cancelled. We will be in contact with everyone once the rain date has been scheduled.
